Joe's focus is on people. His goal is to get to know you, and teach you everything you want to know - and sometimes, things you didn't know you wanted to know! - and help you however he can. His extensive knowledge of his industry, local sports scene, international stringing and global network make him a leader and someone you just like to be around.
When Marni walked into the Racquet Corner in Lincoln back in 1999, her life changed in many ways. It began with her love of the sport of tennis, and has grown into a love of the business of tennis. She is an integral part of our team, handling everything from putting on a grip to designing the website you are navigating right now. There is a reason she is known as "Joe's Manager".
Joe called Luis in 2013 to be part of the RCO family. Joe knew that Luis's passion for anything and everything he does would allow him to fit seamlessly. In addition to being an accomplished tennis player, he's quite skilled at soccer and sushi. His home country is Peru, so if you want to practice your Spanish, he will be glad to listen.
Sheryl has been a professional tennis teacher in Omaha since 2001; she quickly became a trusted friend after we met her in the shop in 2003. In 2010, Joe offered her a spot on the Racquet Corner Omaha team, and she very quickly became family. If you have questions about your racquets, strings, game or really anything else - ask Sheryl. She will always find a way to help.
Mike has been part of the RCO family since 2006; he's always ready to jump in and lend a hand, no matter the task - and that is only one of the things we love about him! In addition to being an outstanding tennis teaching professional, he's currently the Director of Tennis at Miracle Hill.
Matt is the newest addition to our team - he started work as a stringing apprentice to Joe in 2017. He has the foundation of the right personality for the job, and a love of the game. We can't wait to teach him everything we know!
